adidas originals junior driver leaves passengers at scene of crash
According to passengers in the Expedition, the vehicle was being driven by Stephen Walkenhorst. Witnesses stated the vehicle was being operated erratically, prior to the vehicle veering onto the southbound shoulder of the road, ramping up a driveway, breaking off a telephone pole, rolling through a creek and coming to rest on its side, over a fence. The driver of the vehicle was ejected during the rollover. Witness accounts state the three passengers were either pinned in the vehicle or too injured to walk. The driver was said to have collected several items from the surrounding area and then fled on foot, leaving his passengers. Assisting at the collision scene was CalFire, the Laytonville Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance, and Rescue.
The California Highway Patrol is requesting the publics help in finding the driver, Stephen Thomas Walkenhorst; a white male, six feet tall, short brown hair, with a recent laceration to the forehead. Walkenhorst was wearing black and red Adidas tennis shoes, a black hat, and black sweat pants, carrying a black backpack. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Walkenhorst, please contact the California Highway Patrol, at (707) 268 2000 or dial 911. The public is urged not to confront Walkenhorst, as he may be dangerous.
